On April 26, 2023, the RBI Grade B Short Notice was published. Candidates will be able to submit their applications online between May 9 and June 9, 2023. RBI Grade B Education Qualification 2023

For RBI Grade B (DR) – (General)

You must receive a minimum of 60% on your Bachelor’s degree (or an equal grade in the case of SC, ST, or PWD candidates) OR a minimum of 55% on your postgraduate degree (pass grades for SC, ST, or PWD applicants).

The cumulative total for all semesters/years will be used to determine the minimal qualifying percentage, or an equivalent grade, for the Bachelor’s degree.

Note:  
1. Graduation Level:

Candidates with professional or technical qualifications that are recognised by the government as equivalent to professional or technical graduation will be eligible for admission to the examination, subject to achieving the minimum marks specified above. Such courses must be taken from a recognised university or institute after Class XII and be at least three years in length.

2. Post-Graduation Level:

Any such post-graduate course from a recognised university or institute that is at least two years long and recognised by the government as being equivalent to a professional or technical post-graduation will be eligible for admission to the examination, provided that the student receives the minimum marks outlined above.

RBI Grade B Preparation Strategy 2023

  1. English: Your goal is to complete 25 questions in 18 to 20 minutes..
  2. General Awareness: You have 20 minutes to complete 65–70 questions with excellent accuracy. If you are unsure about some of the answers, don’t worry or answer incorrectly. There is space for 10 to 15 questions.
  3. Quantitative Aptitude: In 25 to 30 minutes, you must aim to answer at least 15 questions correctly. Move on to the next section after answering 15 correctly, and if time allows, return to answer 3–4 more correctly.
  4. Reasoning: If all are answered correctly, a minimum of 35 questions must be answered. Alternatively, 40 accurate questions will take 45 to 50 minutes..

RBI Grade B Notification 2023: – Negative Marking

RBI Grade B Phase 3: Interview

The number of candidates chosen for the interview will depend on how well they fared overall in Phase 2 (Paper 1 + Paper 2 + Paper 3). The Board will set the minimal overall cut-off score in proportion to the number of openings in order to be selected for an interview.At the proper time, the RBI website will publish the applicant roll numbers who have been selected for interviews, and interview invitations will be sent to the registered email addresses.

The interview will comprise 75 marks.  

Before attending the interview, the candidate must take a psychometric test administered by the bank. This will not be part of the final selection criterion and no points will be given for it.

Candidates have the option of an English or a Hindi interview.

The final selection will be made using a merit list that will be created by aggregating the candidates’ scores from the Phase 2 exam, the interview, and any relevant grace points.
