NHPC Educational Qualification Details
According to the official notification from NHPC, candidates must possess a degree, B.Sc, BE/ B.Tech, M.Sc, M.Tech, or MCA from a recognized board or university.
- Trainee Engineer (Civil) – Must have a degree in Civil Engineering/Technology or Engineering with a specialization in Civil Engineering.
- Trainee Engineer (Mechanical) requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Technology or Engineering.
- The Trainee Engineer (Electrical) position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
- Trainee Engineer specializing in Electronics and Communication (E&C) with a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Technology or Engineering.
- Trainee Engineer/Officer (IT) – Required qualifications include a degree in Information Technology Engineering/Technology, Engineering, or MCA.
- Trainee Officer (Geology) – Holds a Master’s degree in Geology or Applied Geology at either the M.Sc or M.Tech level.
- The position of Trainee Engineer/Officer (Environment) requires a candidate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
